Birch and Waite Plant

Birch & Waite is a manufacturer of condiments and a pioneer in the preparation of distinct quality food products using fresh Australian ingredients that are supplied to Australia’s leading Chefs and the food industry generally.

In this project we assisted our client with obtaining approval for an application under Section 4.55 (2) to modify the existing consent relating to the approved use of its Revesby plant. The site is on a classified road. The scope of the modification was to extend the hours of operation to 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and to undertake works including the installation, replacement, or decommissioning of mechanical plant.

We achieved approval for this application by liaising with and obtaining input from the various consultants, including acoustic, environmental monitoring, and traffic engineers, we drafted a detailed Statement of Environmental Effects, compiled the application and liaised with the City of Canterbury Bankstown Council.
